Hillandale is a community of 36 homes by Patrick Malloy Communities, minutes from downtown Historic Roswell and Canton Street. The homes were designed to evoke Charleston streetscapes, with deep front porches and covered outdoor dining spaces, and start at about 3,650 square feet.

This home has the look: brick and painted siding, porches front and back, and a covered rear porch that looks out over the treetops. Inside, a bright family room with a fireplace opens to a kitchen with an oversized island, the dining room has windows on three sides, and a curved staircase leads up to a primary suite with a tray ceiling and a spa-like bath.

This was a relocation purchase. I planned the search, the offer and the closing around the family's move, and we closed in February 2025.
